Today I am most thankful for my Wednesdays off. About a year ago or maybe longer now I took the opportunity to go to a 4-day work week at my job. I’d been wanting to do this for quite some time. I’ve often wondered why just because you don’t have children how that means you have to work full time. I mean in many ways, NOT having children should give you a little more financial freedom because lets face it, kids are expensive! So with all of my sisters having kids and working either part time or not at all outside the home I really love that I have an extra day each week to do things with them. I work about 20 minutes from home so I love being in town one day a week to be able to go to lunch with the people I love since it’s difficult for them to make it out to Grandville very often. It’s also great to spend an afternoon at my sister’s pool with the kids when it can be much quieter than on the weekends. :) So without a doubt I am blessed to be able to take Wednesdays off. :)

Just finished trimming the rose bushes (’cuz it gorgeous out today) and now I’m off to pick up pizza for my sisters Tammy & Manda and their kiddos and my mom & dad. Get to spend the afternoon holding my new niece and working on her birth announcements with Tammy. :)
