Great season finale last night of the Bachelor. For those that didn’t watch, the bachelor (who I must say I was thoroughly impressed with as bachelors go) chose the kindergarten teach who happens to live just blocks from him in Nashville and they’d never met till the show taped in France. She seemed to be about the only one of the girls who was actually emotionally stable. Moana (who he didn’t pick) was sobbing uncontrollably in the car but couldn’t even come up with one connection the two of them had. She seemed completely fake to me with her ‘he looks into my eyes and sees straight into my soul’ right out of her can-o-romantic-lines. UGH!

And then tonight there’s more great tv. If you haven’t watched the show Related on the WB you MUST check it out. It is one of my absolute favorite chick shows. All about 4 sisters and it’s funny, touching, stylish, romantic. What more could you ask for in an hour of entertainment?! Then there’s American Idol again and I’m torn between tivo’ing Boston Legal or Law and Order – SVU. I’m leaning toward SVU ‘cuz it looks like the William Shatner character cheats on his new bride at their wedding reception. Not really a story-line I’m interested in seeing I guess.

And I am so NOT a Barbara Walters fan but I have to tune in tomorrow night. She’s interviewing Matthew McConaughey and Patrick Dempsey. She’s also interviewing George Clooney and maybe a few others but I’m about as much of a George Clooney fan as I am of Barbara Walters. I’ll be able to fastforward through probably half the show which is always nice. :)

Some disturbing news on the television actually right now. Has anyone else been wondering why there seems to be an abundance of jail breaks in the past 3 or 4 months?! I mean it seems like they always get caught so I’m not sure what they’re thinking but for some reason or another they happen alot lately and this one is way too close for comfort. And how on earth does someone who SHOOTS a cop go ANYWHERE without just a ton of police officers making absolutely sure he doesn’t get away and goes to prison if not worse for the rest of his life. Someone if not a number of officers have got to be just sick about this right now.Fortunately I live about a half hour from Grand Rapids but I’m heading into the office for a bit right now to get some packages sent out and the area they’re searching is just a 10 minute drive from there. I’d imagine they’re pretty confident that he’s still in the immediate 5 or 6 blocks they’re searching and hopefully they find him very soon. I’ll keep ya posted ‘cuz I know I hate it when you hear something on the news and then never find out what ended up happening. Sounds like right now the police are focusing on a food store and have guns drawn and alot of screaming going on according to a reporter. I HAVE to get into work but it’s tough to stop watching. I realized after I went to bed last night that I really didn’t say anything about the LO I did about Tammy. I explained the journaling when I posted it at SBB and you can read it there if it’s too small or difficult to read here. The journaling in black is lyrics from another song by Kendall Payne that when I first heard it I thought immediately of my sister Tammy. She’s been through so much the past 2 years and faced everything with such strength and faith and I truly think she set the tone for how the rest of our family looked at Jacob’s short life and losing him. It could’ve been such a different experience. Anyway, I said in my comments at SBB that it’s impossible to put into a scrapbook page how much I admire her strength but this page is my best shot at trying.

Okay, I really have to finish getting ready and leave for work but I just felt like I should include a little explanation behind the LO here.

I actually finished two whole LOs this weekend. Got a few ideas in my head for others and hope to find some time to scrap tomorrow. Also REALLY need to work on a new blog header because I’m starting to feel ready for spring. I wouldn’t mind another good snowstorm or two but the sunshine today was definitely nice.

Staying up way too late tonight and I’ve gotta be to work so early tomorrow but I had a really good conversation with Leeandra (love ya girl!) and I wanted to post here since I won’t have a chance in the morning like I usually do.

Also had to stay up and watch Dancing with the Stars and Grey’s Anatomy. Yay Drew!! I was so impressed with him from the very beginning and he’s been my favorite all along. So glad he won and so glad Jerry Rice made it to the very end too. His attitude alone was worth getting him that far and he really was looking much improved by the end. :) And tomorrow is the Bachelor Finale. Hopin’ Jill can come over and watch with me. I hope he picks Sarah but we’ll see. :)

And with a big yawn, I’m off to bed. Nighty night. :)

Finally the last line from the song ‘pray’. I’ve done a slideshow (<—Click here and then click on the 2nd slideshow on the screen to see it) using the song and photos of all my nieces and nephews. I’d still like to print these also and put them in a small album and I saw this by Vania at 2 Peas and I think it’d be a fun way to put it together. Tonight though I’d like to do a couple more LOs for Jacob’s album that could be used in his slideshow. It’s getting close to his 2nd birthday and I’d like to have it finished and posted on his website and get the album gallery updated by then. Have I mentioned I’m gonna have a new niece again on March 10th?! My sister Kimberly has the date set for her last amnio and then if all goes as planned March 10th she goes in for a c-section and I’ll be an aunt for the 11th time! :)

Havin’ a little fun with one of the last lines from the song ‘pray’. LOVIN’ the digital distressing kit from Scrap Artist. I can tell already that it’ll get used OFTEN. Also picked up Rhonna’s latest stitches at 2 Peas yesterday and they seemed fitting for this quote. And I can’t get enough of Amy’s notebook papers and Jen’s glass pebbles. Used the beer dip font on this one. Still one of my favorites. :)

It’s tough to leave out Taylor but if I HAVE to pick three these would be my choices. Taylor is great too but I’m not sure he’s ‘american idol’ material. I’d totally buy his cd but this is ‘American IDOL’ and I just don’t see alot of American teens ‘idolizing’ a grey haired 29 year old.

I know I’ve mentioned before that we think my sister Tam looks so much like Reese Witherspoon so I just had to post a picture here so you can see. Crazy isn’t it?! :)

I finally finished the slide show to the song I’ve been posting lines from. I’m not a fan of the photodex site for sharing videos but when I tried saving it to post here like my regular videos the file was ridiculously huge or completely blurry all the way through. Found the video I’d done of photos from the convention last October too. It’s not pretty cuz it was before I really knew anything about the slide show software but since then I lost my hard drive and this is the only record I have until I do a new one and who knows if that’ll ever happen. Anyway, that’s just what the other video is on this page. I couldn’t get it to link directly to the ‘pray’ slideshow. Oh, and I ended up clipping the beginning and end of the song so it just includes the lines that I’ve been posting. It was a lot of fun to make and I could definitely see myself doing stuff like this for people as well as the digi-scrapping thing. Loved sorta combining the two a little on this one. Hope you like it! :)
