{ A Cozy Corner & 1 With Wierdness }

As promised, another little cozy corner from my new space. As you can see I need an alarm clock. I’ve been using my phone for the past month but I think it’s time to go out and get an actual alarm clock.  Other than that this little corner is perfect. Future photos will likely include lamps on the floor rather than on end tables, wall hangings resting against the wall rather than hung and other less than ‘finished’ looking spaces. I do want to capture these images though as a reminder of this time in my life. Lauren has challenged me to try the photo-a-day thing with her so that should be a good way to motivate me to document some of these things with photos.

I finally took a photo to go with my first ‘wierdness’ from the tag on Kim’s blog. I’m gonna break these up a bit rather than seeming completely wierd all in one post. ;)  I think if you go back in the archives I’ve listed a few actually some months back but oddly enough I think I may be able to come up with 5 more. The first has to do with the way I like things to look in my bathroom. I buy beauty products based on their packaging more than the contents inside. It’s a happy surprise when I find something with the perfect color packaging that actually has a wonderful product inside. This obsession actually even goes as far as picking out the perfect color toothbrush even though it sits in a drawer where nobody but me sees it. My current products in the shower include kiwi shampoo & conditioner (in green/white), TEX hair mask (luckily neutral because I love how soft it makes my hair), brown sugar & fig shower gel (which is a muted shade that somehow goes perfectly with both the crimson red towels and the deep eggplant ones that share the bathroom and the smell is sweet spicey goodness) and last but not least a men’s shaver in the perfect shade of green (goes much better than the women’s hot pink version). To add to the wierdness I’m terribly particular about all the bottles being put back in the proper locations and all the labels facing just so. Kinda crazy I know but it starts my day so much better to step into the shower and see them all lined up and matching so pretty-like. :)
